Our Story
From Our Backyard to Your Table
Welcome to our family farm and business Rabbit Creek Farm Co.! We’re a multi-generational team dedicated to growing, picking, and preserving fresh produce for our community. We understand the importance of fresh, healthy food, and the current barriers to its production and access. With community support we aim to alleviate these barriers.
We believe in sharing the joy (and the reality) of farm life with our community. In all its messy glory. From our immigrant grandparents who started it all to the little ones running around today, its all hands-on deck in every aspect of the farm. Currently we maintain annual cropland, pasture, poultry, a soon to be orchard, honey bees, and a diverse forest home to many native species.
We understand we owe this space to the peoples that came before us and that we now steward land that were shaped eons ago by massive glacial forces so far beyond our abilities. That many lives and beautiful cultures flourished on these lands and nearby. We are situated on Treaty six territory within the MNA region 4. We recognize that what we now call home are the unceded traditional lands of the Stoney, Cree, Plains Cree, and Metis peoples and in our current era aim to have these lands in service of all nature including humanity as an inseparable part of it.

We want to do our part in building a strong, resilient, and anti-fragile local food system. All the while taking care of the soil and leaving the place even better than we found it. We want to provide a template for a sustainable model of getting good food onto local tables. Join us on this journey as we share our stories, seasonal updates, and the fruits (and veggies!) of our labor. From our family to yours, we hope you will join us on this journey and invite you to share this story with everyone you think might be interested.
